Smitha Murthy has always been drawn to the places where words meet feeling. Where stories help make sense of what we carry.
At 12 she lost her brother to suicide. Later, during the upheaval of Covid, she encountered spiralling anxiety and trauma.
Out of that loss and that reckoning, MyndStories was born. Smitha wanted to build a space to listen to the stories our minds tell us, without shame, without judgement. She noticed how mental-health conversations slipped into the shadows and decided to bring them into light.
Today she writes, creates, and dreams through MyndStories, always bringing her lived experience of ADHD and C-PTSD into every piece of work.
Through her art, Smitha reminds us that every feeling and every struggle is proof that we are still here and still becoming.
